Problems uploading files to hosted server at Godaddy

You have an upload script that works fine locally in your development environment, but once you deploy the page to the hosting server you're getting messages that access is denied to the file/folder you're trying to upload to. I had this problem at Godaddy.

  1. Log in to godaddy
  2. Go to the Hosting Manager
  3. Click on Content / File Manager
  4. Select the folder and click Permissions.
  5. Uncheck the Inherit and check Write.
  6. Save the changes.

This should be it.
