multiple connections error adding Windows network share

After creating a new Windows Share by going to your network places and choosing "Add a network place" and trying to open it you get an error message saying something like: "Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one user name, are not allowed."

You probably use the computer name. Use the IP as the path in the first step when adding the share. You should be able to find this out by: Start -> Run, "cmd" and using the command ping "servername".
